The law should say that the companies cannot put that cost on the consumer. The prices are only rising because Doordash and Instacart refuse to pay their workers and are instead making consumers do so.

Also, I'm not sure who can afford it these days. I used it a ton about a year and a half ago when I had a broken leg and couldn't get out of bed, but had to stop once it was an extra $30 per order. Safeway delivers groceries for cheap, and that's what I use nowadays. Shocker, they actually pay their employees and provide delivery vehicles.
