Although I am very happy with the current devices in the 2.4Ghz band, wifi-6 might be a nice improvement.

I'm curious what improvement would 5Ghz Wi-Fi bring? ESP32 chips typically aren't seeing bandwidth heavy applications nor are they going to benefit from lower network latency.

I can't think of an use case where it would be reasonable to trade longer 2.4Ghz signal coverage for the benefits of 5Ghz spectrum.

I would never use 2.4Ghz on a phone or a laptop if 5Ghz is available, but that's quite different use case.
