Paragons of Virtue Arrested

It's time to name and shame the self-proclaimed paragons of virtue. Keep it civil, though.

Stories are about those who have been placed in positions of trust, and then abused that trust.

Feel free to add stories of the self-righteous from other walks of life.

New rule: With regard to stories of particularly, but not only, female teachers sexually assaulting students. Any comments similar to "where were they when I was in school" will earn you the right to find another forum.

The Jewish Chabad movement, which dug tunnels in New York City which were revealed to be holding a small soiled mattress and a high chair, has a dark history of pedophilia within its executive branch.

In 1991, one of the Chabad movement’s most prominent members, Hirschel Pekkar, who created the famous Chabad Menorah, admitted to “doing things that shouldn’t be done” to a 5-year-old girl, after she accused him of child sexual abuse.

Despite the admission, Pekkar faced no legal action and no further scrutiny. The situation was kept within the Chabad movement, with a rabbinical court ordering Pekkar to be treated by an “expert counselor.”

this is a sketchy source that seems to be peddling the same anti-semitic rhetoric that Musk’s far-right xitter trolls are using. what evidence is there to any of these claims?

yeah, but what the original article is suggesting is that the tunnels were constructed to perpetuate child sexual abuses. the lawsuit mentions nothing about the tunnels and only alleges the rabi sexual abused the victim.

my comment stands that the original source article is peddling conspiracies and antisemitism by alleging that the tunnels were constructed to conceal child sexual abuses.
