Whoever thinks this is a gorgeous artifact is one sick fuck.
Ah, the magazine description is just something that I wrote up in the moment of creating this mag and never changed. This place is for all interesting artifacts - most are gorgeous because they are interesting. Some, like this, are interesting because they are a look into a cruel and callous world not so far removed from our own as we would like.
I think this type of thing is important to share in a world where we have people trying to downplay the cruelty of slavery or rewrite/whitewash history.
Agreed, makes me feel uncomfortable
