$43 for a replacement battery seems pretty good.
Really excited to see that too! $160 for a screen is quite a bit pricier, so I'm very happy that I invested in a thick panzerglass protector.
The screens are actually quite a complicated bit of kit. Especially proper quality ones. A lot going on in there for durability, conduction for detection and accuracy,, visibility, etc.
If people realised they're not just a cheap sheet of plain glass, they'd protect them more. But then again if people realised their phones were pocket computers, they'd probably treat them better in general. Never seen someone toss a $2K laptop to their buddy so they have more hands for beer carrying.
Absolutely, I fully agree. Not saying it doesn't make sense, also considering the fingerprint scanner underneath. $160 is just quite a bit more money for me, personally, than $43.
One could say it is almost four times as much...
