This is a topic that has been very personal to me last years so felt like it's a good idea to post this here

My turning point was when started to form a family. Somehow it just snapped that "no I don't want to ride without a helmet, nor I want to see others do that"

At that point I just started to get anxious thinking of all the crashes of the past what could have been. I still used helmet most of the time when a teenager/young adult but nowadays it's for every commute or shop visit or I'll start feeling anxious
