  • Pre: Warm shower
  • Bowl: Timeless
  • Brush: Maggard 22mm
  • Razor: Parker Variant @ full turn + 4 and 5
  • Blade: Treet Silver Carbon Steel (Pakistan)
  • Soap: Noble Otter Rawr
  • Post Shave: Alum (immediately) - Stirling Bergamot Lavender balm (tomorrow morning)

1 pass WTG, 1 pass J-hooked XTG-ATG hybrid with frequent relather and touch-ups with water only and smaller blade gap.

Went well enough, 2 painless nicks that did not survive alum. This might be the combo I'm looking for...

Edit: Picture prob. Fixed No picture, cannot upload. Help will be appreciated.

Parker Variant is an Indian built Merkur Progress imitation in a way. What I like about it is being able to really test the blades in my sample pack in various conditions. I can also just dial it down if I wanna avoid trouble and just trim everything down stress less.

For my picture trouble, I had website and app errors yesterday, but it looks fixed.

Gotcha. I only have two razors (vintage Gillette and a vikings blades chieftan) and really just exclusively use the old gillette. I tried about two dozens blades and then settled for the one I like the best and bought in bulk. However, I think trying a new razor that's affordable might be fun to do. I'm really happy with my results with my setup right now but just for curiosity sake. You know what I'm saying. Also, welcome to the community!

It's funny. I said that to you and then had my own problems. I am thinking there is a limit to file size or dimensjons. Since I run this server I'm going to look into it when I get a chance.
