My current merc company is The Iron Hounds. My medium lance is all Shadowhawks. Are there better medium mechs? Sure. Are they big stompy bois with cannons on their shoulder?? No.
Been having a lot of fun with these guys - now I just want to get some Shadowhawk 5Ms and cram them with clan tech.
Being able to cart around the UAC10 has been the real killer. Everyone just buys time while Hunter lines a shot up.
