Depends in country some celebrate the 24th

This is kind of true. The liturgical day begins on sundown. So Christmas Day is technically after sundown on the 24th to the sundown of the 25th. Most of the day is spent on the 25th, in the christian calendar it's all on the 25th and the confusion only arises as the calendars clash.
