It took me ages and I hated the process but I absolutely love it. It's very dense. The base fabric was a peice of curtain. The yarns are a mix of what ever I could find. I bought some new and found some 2nd hand or was given them. It took a looooooot of yarn.

I want to make more but I'll have to invest in a rug gun first ๐Ÿ™ƒ

I lote it! It captures the feel of a mossy, humid mountainside so well.

I also have to say that the room it's in is incredible. It looks so cozy!

Thank you! I really want my home to feel like you've walked into a fairytale so I've got plants growing on all the walls and ceilings, natural edged/raw wood details, and artsy things like this moss rug, little mushroom lights, a cloud lamp, and some mountain shelves. All diy!

I have dreams of bracket mushroom shelves as a cat walk from one loft to another and a large flower or mushroom butni haven't found all the materials I'll need yet
