If my neighbor killed someone then started a fight, if I had the power to remove them and then didn't, I would expect I might be hurt from collateral damage.

It would be more akin to Canada sending missiles into the US approved by the government and as a Canadian not expecting that the US would respond back.

Kids, over half the area are kids. Regardless what some adults did, you don’t bomb kids. It’s not that hard to say.
