This show was incredible. The art style is gorgeous and it doesn't shy away from the tropes it is playing with. I was blown away not knowing anything and just watching on a friend's recommendation. I really hope it gets renewed for more.

Watched it off a friend's recommendation as well not knowing anything about it. Skipped a holiday event to binge my way through it. Everything was just so good - animation, voice cast, storyline, historical details.. Absolutely love that the creators did not water down for a safer audience and just fully committed to the story.
