I never even reply to these people they’re not worth my damn time anyway 😭 one person did it once on Islamic twitter and blew up, now they genuinely believe any exMuslim either 1) doesn’t exist 2) we know nothing about Islam and left, I’d argue the opposite, us exmuslims know more about Islam than 80% of Muslims worldwide. I remember talking to a Muslim once and I told them how it’s haram for them to buy a house in the west bc of interest rates , and he had no idea what the rules on Islamic economics were, and she worse the hijab, prayed 5 times a day etc.. whole shebang. Please shut up, trust me I know so much about Islam. I spent years studying it, trying so hard to hold on to it. I didn’t blindly accept Islam like some of you weirdos did, I wanted to find a way to make it true. But I couldn’t find a valid reason for Islam , hence I left.

Its interesting to see how similar all of humanity is. Not trying to hijack your post, just relate. I grew up and wss confirmed Catholic and became an Atheist in college and never looked back. I still get questions and confusion over my atheist background and people often will say just try reading the bible again or ask how can i be an Atheist, what will happen to me when i die, or other similar questions.

I dont go around questioning why people are religious or how they can believe in something that from an outside perspective, just seems so unrealistic.

It is what it is. Just wanted to add another similar comparitive light to your frustrations.

Hope you are well.
