They've really got to turn the flat world map into a sphere and have new continents elsewhere, looks pretty silly just stuffing everything in the centre like that.
Or zoom the map out and put them around the outside.
It's been awhile since I've played. Can't remember if any of the transport methods from kalimdor ever go west off the edge and then pop up on the east edge to get to eastern kingdoms or vice versa. Would probably be pretty easy to implement.
No, and canonically, anyone who tried never came back.
There's probably "something" back there, but we won't see it for a while.
No it wouldn't make sense, not with the hints to a hidden back of the planet and another big landmass being hinted at.
