Curious to know if there are any DIY Loopers on here. I started DIY Looping with Omnipod back when it was released (I think 2019). Been Looping ever since. Really enjoyed this recent video about DIY Loop and its origins.

Yep, currently DIY Looping with Omnipod Dash pods and the Dexcom G7. The combo is amazing. I could get the Omnipod 5, but then I'd have to go back to carrying around another separate device as my Omnipod receiver, as they haven't released the iPhone app yet. In addition, Omnipod does not yet work with the Dexcom G7 which, overall, I really like.

For me, DIY Loop has worked incredibly well and I love that I can walk out of my house with my just my iPhone and still able to control my pod and have the closed-loop system working without issue. The app has become increasingly easier to build over time (now you no longer need a Mac and can build it via any web browser through GitHub). And I like that DIY Loop gets features implemented long before FDA-approved devices. There's no telling how long it will take for the Omnipod 5 to be able to be closed-loop with Dexcom G7, but I am already able to loop with the G7.
