What even is the house of black these days? They have such a strong look but like no identity or development outside of Julia. Julia has been great I love her, but these guys were doing "house rules" trios matches that were amazing and now... Meh
I'd give an answer but I'm biased to the point all they have to do is exist for me.
They just announced a tag match, and yeah Matt and Chris will make a great match against HoB, but how does this build towards something? They went from running the Trios with their own ruleset to working with (extremely talented) lower mid card guys.
I don't know that every match has to build towards something
It's not just that these guys should be used to help new developing talent. They can put in a great match for sure, but for TV time etc they would be better utilized against Nick Gage and someone or the newly healed top flight.
We could have had the Righteous in this spot and that could have led to all sorts of interesting possibilities. Just an idea.
Maybe not but I feel like they are used as callbacks to bigger stories.
Cody said something about equity after Survivor Series and I feel like AEW is constantly trying to make up for it
AEW definitely struggles with storylines but I'll be in the dirt when I listen to the guy responsible for some of the worst stories in AEW lol

I think the BCC feud got a bit delayed with Danielsons injury but we're seeing crossover with this match rn.
Malakai and Buddy seem to be getting reps in to face FTR
I'm not sure, but I think Buddy and Malakai were out with injuries. I know Buddy's back but I don't know if Malakai is healthy yet...just saw a post that he hasn't had a singles match in over a year :/
I think Malaki is still having issues with his back that almost retired him. On the bright side it sounds like he's improving!
I hope so. I miss seeing him in singles action.
