[Dan Sheldon] David de Gea signed a new contract extension only for #MUFC to back out of the agreed proposal. Initial offer would have seen drastic reduction to De Gea’s £375kpw salary (twitter.com)

I absolutely agree. Opinions of De Gea aside, he has been nothing but professional. He deserves to be treated with a bit of respect at least

Same. I love De Gea. He’s always kept his mouth shut during his transfer saga and now this contract extension issue. Just seems like a good personality. I hope the club does him well
