@stefano @netbsd Did you know you can just put
fs ramdisk.fs
in your boot.cfg to make the bootloader load a ramdisk from the same volume it loaded the kernel from? No need for mdsetimage!(Only x86 or platforms with efiboot for now, like arm.)
