Go over there and beat on their door. Tell em to quit throwin garbage in your bins.
This is why I posted the question: I would, but I'm not sure how bad this is considered - if there will be any consequences if they decide to ignore me.
Bad? Can't say I've ever heard of a time when asking somebody to do something is considered bad. Hell with anyway, they deserve a good tongue lashing anyway.
Oh, I meant bad, as in, how punishable it is by law, how much trouble they could get in, or what I can say if they simply go "So what".
Start by asking. If they don't respect your request, then escalate it. I don't believe there is a law keeping people from conversation.
If they say so what, then cal.thw trash company, if it goes further see if you could find another way to solve it
