Driving to whatever realistically reachable destination I can. By myself. Well, with the dog, but he lost his license.
I draw the line at 16 hours, generally, which gets me to some pretty awesome destinations.
My friends think I'm crazy, but airport hassle, renting cars or Uber/Lyft is not my preferred mode of travel. I don't mind flying. I'd just rather enjoy the act of travelling, the ability to stop off wherever I want, etc.
Sent before "can't put into words" ... I can't seem to explain that the ease/less time spent is not appealing adequately in a satisfactory way.
I still liked those words. Those are nice words.
