I'm in the market for my first real pair of headphones for just listening to music. I've had a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770s for mixing, but now I want something to step my game up.

I've been looking at the Focal Clear MGs and I'm even curious of some Grados.

I wanted a computer headset with good sound, and attaching one to a hifi headphone seemed like an easy way to do it. Got the wired USB version since I'm going to use it with my PC anyway so wireless would just be annoying when running out of batteries. I've only used the mic for voice chat (i.e. no streaming or recording) but it does its job. It has a switch for directional mode but it doesn't make any difference at all, my friends still hear my wife gaming at her desk 2m away just as clearly as they hear me speaking 3cm from the mic. The cable clips catch on on clothes, armrests and the edge of the desk occasionally which is a bit annoying but I can live with it. Uses USB audio standard so it was plug-n-play on Linux.
