Hyper Light Drifter was far better than it had any right to be, while taking some significant risks along the way. 2d top-down, image only storytelling, fairly unforgiving difficulty - all these game mechanics were new for me, yet made me appreciate the genres they imbodied more and more!

Now, I'm looking at this 3D rouge-like structure thinking "not my usual cup of tea", but the team here has such skill in making brilliant experiences that I know it'll win me over as well :)

Can't wait to play it!!
