Well it's all nepotism and rich shits who don't actually want the jobs but want the power it brings them running shit these days. It's the common story of the children of conquerors not understanding the effort of building an empire and just trying to rob their piece before it breaks that happens again and again and again.

We are adrift and we don't have the people to lead us to a happier ending at the moment, just tighter in groups. Empathy will not be useful in the new world I suspect and it will be a while before there is a place for it. It fucking sucks.
