Thanks for your efforts Ross. I noticed you and ABC have been making your presence felt more recently, and your kind words to Travis tonight regarding mental health weren’t lost in the ether.
It’s truly a fantastic community with so many members such as yourself, who bring credence and weighty thoughtfulness to this play.
Thanks again for your efforts on this new platform!
Hey, long-time Lemmy user noticing you guys moving in lately. If you don't mind me asking, what's the PP Show about? What is it?
EDIT: Seems to be a lot of stuff here about Ryan Cohen. After googling him, I guess this is something to do with GameStop?
We were a very active Reddit group that talked mostly about $BBBY and $BBBYQ (bed bath and beyond stock) and the likelihood that Ryan Cohen and other investors were taking it over through behind the scenes channels. This group had hundreds of people pouring over nearly 3000 bankruptcy dockets to understand the mechanics and likelihood of a resurgence and stockholders being rewarded.
Yesterday, on the day after a very important bankruptcy date and with no warning, the sub of nearly 20k individuals was deleted by Reddit.
We have a lot of memes but we’re focused on facts and the truth always rises to the top.
Thanks, to both you and @[email protected]. So, basically a group trying to piece together investor shenanigans. Fair enough. Not my cup of tea but I wish you all the best.
Happy we could help, hope to see you around! A touch of morbid curiosity is really all it takes to start the journey down one of the wildest rabbit holes in the world. At the surface we mostly discuss BBBYQ with a touch of GME due to Ryan Cohen’s involvement but looking long enough shows a common path towards market reforms that would have widespread societal implications. I was not involved in GME until well after the sneeze of ‘21, I’d watched most of the talk on Reddit’s Wall Street bets in the run up but also considered the stock market outside the realm of my interest, the dedication those fools showed to figuring out what happened though strapped me in for the longest, craziest, most stressful and most rewarding 3 years of my life.
