A priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate has been detained for allegedly spreading pro-Russian propaganda during sermons, Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) reported on Nov. 21.

In Russia, state controls religion. In US the right wants religion to control state.

What a completely irrelevant comment. First, this article is about Ukraine not Russia. Second, the state is not trying to control the church but rather prevent its local representative from using his influence to push a pro Russian agenda. Third, Russia regularly uses the church as a promotion of pro Russian and anti Ukraine agendas.
