Several other companies (Disney, Warner, NBCUniversal, AMC) still feel like their cable channels have some form of life in them. However, Viacom/Paramount's networks feel like you are wandering into a blighted neighborhood. MTV has Ridiculousness all day long, Comedy Central literally shows 3 shows outside of vogue weekend programming (The Office, a bit of Seinfeld, and South Park). Nick at Nite shows Friends all night long, Paramount (while the home of Yellowstone) shows either Bar Rescue or Yellowstone and maybe 2 and a Half men and 3 1/2 hour long 80s movies that were originally under 2 hours. Places like Adult Swim at least have variety from WBD and FX can sometimes mix it up, but these stations feel especially dead.

Comedy Central is effectively dead. 6-8 new South Park episodes every year or so. That's it. I miss the early years when they had shows like Stand-up Stand-up and Short Attention Span Theater.
