I like this but I think it would have been interesting to keep the feet with the wood stain.
For this particular piece, I agree. However, the feet of mid century modern furniture are usually made from a different (stronger) wood type than the main veneer on the piece. So unless you're really skilled with wood stains and toners, you will get feet that look totally off from the main body.
Makes sense. I think it looks great. Love seeing this type of creativity.
