Hi guys, incredible work so far ! I installed like 5 apps to compare them and Thunder is clearly the best and the one I'm keeping.

My two requests would be :

  • A setting to change the default feed when we launch the app. That setting exists and works on the lemmy webui but is not respected and absent in the settings of Thunder.
  • I know from GitHub that you have a "Mark post as read" in your roadmap but to that I would add a functionality that convinced me to make Relay my main app when I used Reddit : Hide read post. When opening your feed that button would automatically remove read post and you would get posts that you haven't seen before. No more scrolling through pages of posts that you've already seen. I will add this addition to the relevant issue opened on GitHub.

Anyway app is already the most usable and the one I'm keeping. Thanks for the hard work and I'll stay around to track the progress ! Much love to the devs and users.

Thanks for trying out Thunder! I appreciate all the feedback. It would be great if you could add those issues onto GitHub so that it can better be tracked

Feel free to also discuss your ideas on existing issues as well!
