Honestly I'd settle for being able to make my octoling my profile picture. The mii maker doesn't feel great on switch, and none of the splatoon avatar things available look at all like my octo :(
There's a lot of untapped potential. Kinda feels like there always is with Nintendo. They do something super innovative, or creative and different, but then ignore lots of little things or quality of life "nice to have"s
