I downloaded the latest update from the new Testflight link. I must say, I said “Nice!” when it opened with a sub list. Very fine work developers! Thank you!

Glad you're enjoying the app! We're always looking for ways to make it better--what would you classify as the important features we're missing?

I don’t want to pile on, you guys are doing a great job

Immediately for me though, since you asked:

  • ability to see which instance I’m logged into at a glance (memmy has this in the feed topbar)
  • inbox functionality
  • search (communities, posts, users, all)
  • other user profile pages (incl ability to message, block)
  • tap to open images, pinch zoom, save/share
  • markdown buttons in the text editor

Missing from both:

  • ability to hide thumbnails in compact mode
  • text size scaler
  • ability to hide read / swipe to hide individual posts
  • swipe from device right to go forward (like device left goes back)
  • own profile page with ability to see all my posts and comments, edit/delete, saved items etc.

Thanks for the feedback!

Inbox and profiles are under active development and should be coming down the pipeline in the next couple days. Search, image tapping, better editing, and thumbnail hiding are all planned for 1.1, our first release after launching to the App Store.

The rest is all on the roadmap, but we haven't scoped development yet.
