Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Honestly given all the shit I've been dealing with the past couple of weeks, yeah. If a disembodied flaming skull appeared at this point I'd just be like "sigh alright. What now?"

Most of the Lemmy community cares for you, friend. That's gotta mean something.
I wouldn't say most lol I only post in the meme-y area, and even then that's specific. But it does mean something. Honored, all the time, when someone reacts with "Holy shit, Stamets!" stuff. Even more so if I'm just talking with them. There are a couple people I talk with on Discord that at first acted like I was a celebrity. I just post memes to distract from my own problems. The fact anyone cares is deeply deeply humbling. Trust me on that <3
Doesn't matter where you post, you are creating/posting content on a new platform. So, we care about you! You are a valuable member of our communities.
