It's definitely put off getting a new one for me, especially sense my partner got a Deck too
Instead I'm planning on eventually getting a framework in an enclosure along with an external GPU (whenever that becomes an option, presumably around the end of the year) and make it a compact linux box under the TV I can game on
Got myself a refurbished 11th gen Framework earlier this year, and while it's (mostly) not an option for gaming it's a joy to work with! And the fact that long term I can just pop in a new mobo and possibly add an egpu as well is the icing on the cake!
