So like, I've watched the anime back in 2015 and it's the greatest story of all time.

Fast forward to today, I've been catching up in the manga.

Is there a general consensus on how it's going? How did it go from intricate situations and scenery to straight up essays every panel?

The moment Beyond Netero went off screen and we started getting these essays on all the princes, I've been finding it really hard to get through.

It's so slow...

It's still good but it's not giving me the sense of "oh snap" like before. Honestly the thing that keeps me going is:

Spider troupe and Hisoka shenanigans
Anything the 4th prince does
Kurapika being a G

Everything else is like "cool, but I don't need these monologs from EVERY character"

Still enjoying but no one I know decided to read past the dark continent arc

Agree, current arc is so long and full of text... There is a lot of characters. Besides publication is slow and right now even on hiatus I believe. It makes it hard to follow.

Honestly I am not sure I am still enjoying it. 😕
