Hi all. With all the feedback yesterday I wanted to make a release sooner rather than later to address some of the feedback I've received in order to make Connect even better! Some features I had hoped to get in (Markdown editor, image uploads) but will need some more time. Those will come in an upcoming release. I've also uploaded the APK to Apkmirror but it hasn't yet been reviewed, I'll post a link once that's ready.

Features:

• Feature: added setting for text sizes
• Feature: added setting for default comment sorting
• Feature: added the Inbox (thanks @[email protected])
• Feature: Added open in web button at the community level
• Feature: added open in web action item for profiles and post views
• Feature: added unread comment counts to post cards
• Feature: markdown images now expand on click
• Feature: added a refresh button to the community pages when there's a server issue
• Feature: fullwidth view now scales images to fit instead of displaying cropped

Fixes:

• Bugfix: lemmy.ml posts should now work (they were on a different API version)
• Bugfix: The profile link now works correctly if there are multiple accounts with your same username
• Bugfix: Fixed the list view text being at 80% width
• Bugfix: subscription list is no longer limited to 10 items
• Bugfix resolved an issue where sometimes comments would be duplicated

Misc improvements

• Misc: made comments and sidebar lists more compact

What is upcoming in the next release:

• Markdown editor

• Edit button for your comments/posts
• Block functionality for specific users/communities
