Okay, from my mom's testaments when I grew up:
The jinn are usually in human form, but with their feet backwards. They always try to tempt you to do something, like luring you outside in the middle of the night or turning a corner. Once you turn a corner, you're lost and live in their world.
So always look at their feet when someone calls out your name or asks you to follow them.
