At least 112 Israelis were killed by IDF tanks according to Haaretz.

The IDF then attempted to pin these deaths on Hamas

This number is incorrect. If you read the translation of the Haaretz article (Google translate), it says "The cost of the Hamas attack was terrible: 112 people of Kibbutz Be'eri were killed [on the 7th of October]". And not that 112 people were killed by the Israeli army.

In general, the posted source does a really shitty translation. The story and narrative of the Haaretz (according to the Google translation) is way different.
