This technically isn't on the road map but this is bugging me when I use the app so much I'm going to work on this immediately.

The issue is that the app currently doesn't know how to resolve lemmy URLs. This manifests itself to the user as a number of bugs. It also blocks certain features. I'll go over the details in the bullet list below.

  • Fix links not opening in the app
  • Fix links not opening at all
  • History is very much not working right now and one feature history and saved post will both rely on is a link resolver. No promises, but implementing a link resolver might actually make tapping items on the history screen work.
  • Open any lemmy URLs from outside of the app inside the app.

Other changes:

  • Fix a bug where reloading a community with less than 20 posts causes a blank screen
  • Fix a bug where it shows "no posts found" for a moment when changing sort order
  • Fix a bug where pages will reload even though we fetched it 5 seconds ago.

Update

More changes:

  • Fixed NSFW content not being blurred
  • Fixed NSFW content showing twice
  • Tapping a community tag will now take you to that community
  • Fixed a bug where resuming the app would show a blank page
  • Fixed an issue where some cache files were kept for too long

Update 2 v0.1.6 has been scrapped. v0.1.7 will be the next release version. The major change is it will be lemmy 0.18.0 compatible.

Hi developer. Can you add multi functional fab button for example this

Read/hide read setting very impotent in this fab

Could you please tell me what those buttons do from the top? I'll make a note of this.

Got it thank you!

In the picture I just took, the fab button is untouched. If you touch it, 3 features are revealed. The first is create a post. The second is the 'hide read' feature to avoid seeing the posts you read repeatedly. The third feature is a shortcut to get to the top of the page.
