2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.


This was a closer shave with the WR4 than yesterday's was with the Vector. Same blade. Same shaver. Yesterday's shave was excellent for a 2-pass shave. Today's is excellent for a 3-pass shave, and it occurs to me that I have not done a 3-pass shave with this razor yet. Why? I think it comes down to design differences. I'm very impressed with the cleverness of the Vector, and it provides, good feedback from the edge. It's really a great razor. I think, perhaps, that the WR4 gives me more edge angle latitude control and that suits my style of shaving. Back to straights tomorrow.

Which gap do you have for the WR4?

I have 0.70mm. The standard choices were 0.70 and 0.80, but you can custom order.

The prototype I used was 0.77mm.
