Installed and cant login to lemmy.world. Says some kind of incompatibility with this instance.

Edit: delete useless part.

As soon as Lemmy v0.18 is released lemmy.world will be updated.

Btw @[email protected] if your downgrade fails, remove the app completely before you reinstall.

Thanks. I've tried removing the app data, restarting etc. but nothing seems to help.

It's ok just now anyway as I remembered I have Jerboa installed on another android device. Can use that temporarily.

Same here. Upgraded to 35, but found out that lemmy.world won't support v18.0 because of Captcha issues.

Tried to downgrade to 37 & 34 (fresh reinstall) and it automatically crashes.

Cannot use Jerboa anymore

I managed to get 34 going again by very quickly repeatedly tapping the top left corner of the screen (hamburger menu) at startup. Uninstalled and did it again to verify.

Just keep trying if it crashes. I can show a video if you want.

I could only bypass the crashes by opening lemmy.world in the browser and clicking the Jerboa icon to open it on the app. Maybe that could work for you.

A few users found some ways around the crashes. I could login by repeatedly tapping the hamburger menu when opening the app and someone else said you could do it by turning of wifi/4G and only turn it back on when you're about to login.
