I use Jerboa and have this refreshing issue much less than I did with the browser interface, but it does still happen occasionally. It seems to be related to my Internet connection - if my phone switches between the shitty cell service at my house and the only slightly more reliable home wifi, the thread I'm reading (or community I'm viewing) refreshes as soon as the connection is reestablished.
Idk what to do about that except be patient for more stability in future versions 🤷 if I understand the situation correctly, we're using barely-beta stuff here on Lemmy, there are gonna be some hiccups. The general vibes of the various communities I've interacted with here has been so fucking awesome that I'm willing to deal with the hiccups, I think it's totally worth it.
