It sure is, but, spoiler alert: so is every other form of human government which has been attempted at scale.
No one wants to clean the toilets, everyone wants the best for their children.
Capitalist Democracy is a terrible form of government, except for all the others.
the tragedy of the commons is a myth perpetuated by apologists for private property.
democracy under capitalism is a dictatorship of the ownership class. we can do better.
Like what? The thing is slowly turning in to a cyberpunk dystopia
common ownership of the means of production in a classless stateless society, governed via collective mutual determination.
abolishing the systems of heirarchy which subjugate us and replacing them with egalitarian liberatory systems which reconcile individual autonomy with the needs of the community.
it's not a "myth" if we haven't done better yet, it's experience
