Using magnet wire as hookup wires for mcu to sensors in the same enclosure? (self.microcontrollers)

I want to wire an MCU to an IMU board and some Lemo sockets inside a 3D printed enclosure but the silicone wires I use are a pain to deal with in such a small case. Is there a counter indication to using magnet wires to hook them up? My 22 awg magnet wire is thinner than my 36 awg silicone wire.
