The truth is most people don't know about framework or fairphone and they don't care. They want their $1200 phone shaped jewelry.
Yeah, I know. But it's not like 5 years ago when we had no alternatives. The alternatives are here, today, and they are quite good.
Even amongst enthusiasts I see not wanting to spend money as being an issue.
Besides Linux support and a few more traits, ThinkPads have been known for repairability and they have a strong following. But, most of the followers only buy used ones because they can get them cheap.
