The standard of living in my country has absolutely skyrocketed in the last 10 years.
I no longer have to worry about cholera, the roof of my house falling on me, or being shipped to a conflict zone by an employer.
My new problems are more like navigating a career in IT, saving for a home, and harassing clients to pay me on time.
The number of problems I have has stayed the same, but the new set is much better than the old set and I try to pause a moment and appreciate that sometimes.
