I'm confused about the numbers on the weapon descriptions. Like this one below says 56-84 damage per hit, but when using it with a skill, it does the damage per hit that is associated with the skill instead. Is the 56-84 damage per hit only if you are using it for a basic attack (meaning what... do people actually just not assign anything to the A button so that they can still do their attack?

And if these numbers are actually replaced by the damage numbers indicated on the skill, then does it matter if you ever upgrade the weapon, or will any weapon be fine?

Hope I'm making sense...
