Also, if you have a car see if you can downgrade by going for a cheaper used car, try to find cheaper rent and look for stuff you don't need anymore and sell it.

My car is totally paid off so that is a possibility. We were looking to get a second one before this happened to help with us both working. The house we are in is probably the best in the area honestly and we have 5 cats soon to be 4 which is also difficult to re-home.
