The equipment wheel on games. Metal gear solid did it best
Scrolling through about 10 wheels on BG3 is making me lose the will to live.
I always liked the way Crysis did it. Hold down the middle mouse button and drag your mouse towards the option you want.
I feel like The Last of Us did it well. Maybe because there are so few weapons to choose from.
