What county is everyone from? I'm up north in Lancashire (maybe not north enough to be proper north though!)

Idea stolen from lemmy's casual uk group.

Kbin links always open outside of my instance so I can't sub to them

Ah I'm not sure how to get around that, still haven't figured all this out. Maybe search for Lancashire on your instance and the group here will show up?

Still haven't been able to crack it annoyingly. May be an idea if I make a lemmy Lancashire community so everyone can play

Go for it! I still haven't figured out how to link across instances, although when I search for things in the magazine search on kbin lemmy instances show up as well so I assumed it would be similar?

I see posts from kbin magazines on my feed if I sort all communities by new. But the search function is diabolically bad.

What a shame, the search isn't great here but still works (ish) . I end up posting a lot on lemmy posts and groups

Does this link work, only if you are on lemmy world though:

Gives me the lovely message 'couldn't find community' - I'm on Feddit UK

Hmm maybe try: https://feddit.uk/c/[email protected]
You can really tell I'm not sure what I'm doing!

Still no but thanks for trying. We're all getting used to this newfangled stuff. And the tech will improve with time.
