I'm going to hate both, thank you very much.
Especially when the player is actively working against changing the game because it makes them so much profit.
They do have a choice. They could not buy additional homes.
If you already own a home, I think you're doing just fine. You don't need another one.
They are directly crushing their fellow humans. They get no sympathy from me.
