One of my big gripes with the manga subreddit was the focus on constant character objectification. It's fine if you like that, but there were always tons oneshots and fan-art that were basically porn, instead of focusing on an interesting story.

Do you think things will be different this time? Do you want them to be?

The tsuntsuntsunderederedere thing almost made me stop interacting with the western manga fan community altogether, because /r/manga was nothing but 18,237,623,746 different translations of that for the entire first week I was subscribed.
